As some one with an AV/R HI-FI receiver I've been looking for something like this since the dawn of the 8th generation of console hardware. No desire for the bulky “gaming headsets” ,since my $1000 setup blows those stereo virtual surround sound gimmicks out of the water, and yes I'm talking about Astros, turtle beachs etc(there not as good as you think).
This Headset is the only one of its kind, that does what it say's on the box.
The input quality is superb, being greater than any mic that plugs into the control, also beats out Sonys golds in terms of input, and those are pretty damned good. The output is also great I can hear everyone I talk to crystal clear.
As for the issue of comfort ability brought brought up by the other review at the time of this one. Mostly negligible as it's very user dependent, I personally have no issue's with it, however with the speaker end being quite far back from the speaker compared to most similar devices, I can see this being of discomfort to others. Sticking a soft material like that which keeps dirt of other headphone sets over the end will fix that perfectly.
