5 stars "The Gorillaz bring you another great banana to chew on."

With the international success of their last two albums (Demon Days and D-Sides), Gorillaz bring you another great album straight off the press.

Plastic beach is everything you wanted and more, with a New Voice for Noodle (after an album of absence), giving a new feel to their already great music. The collection of music styles and talents (Bobby Brown makes an appearance on two tracks) has taken the bar placed from their last studio album and raised it even higher. This is a must have for any Gorillaz fan, or anyone just looking for good music in a time where it is so hard to find. 5/5 Stars from me. (On a side note the DVD that comes with this awesome bundle gives you a behind the scenes look of their latest album filmed in a way that is just as creative as their music.)

4 stars "A bit different ot the other albums"

This album is a bit more instrumental and experimental than the other albums. Its an album where a a few songs are great and a few I prefer not to listen to. However it still has made me want to go to their concert!
The web interactive stuff is quite cool. And the making of dvd is interesting and give more of an understanding of the album which in itself is not obvious in its message.

The album is lead by a single Stylo (featuring Mos Def and Bobby Womack). The single is Zane Lowe’s “Hottest Record In The World”.

Confirming Stylo, Murdoc Niccals twittered, “A leak! A leak! Plastic Beach has sprung a leak! One of those Russian pirates has put a bullet hole in my island! My single's leaked! STYLO!”

Five years on from the release of Demon Days, Murdoc Niccals and co. return with Gorillaz. The band have taken up residence, recording on a secret floating island deep in the South Pacific, a Plastic Beach HQ, made up of the detritus, debris and washed up remnants of humanity. This Plastic Beach is the furthest point from any landmass on Earth; the most deserted spot on the planet.

As the world’s biggest animated band, Gorillaz formed in 1998, and have since sold 12 million copies over two albums Gorillaz (2000) and Demon Days (2005). They have hit number 1 in more than a dozen countries and picked up awards including Grammys, Novellos, VMAs and EMAs.

DVD - Making of is extremely indepth, and has a star-studded cast.
