Oldie but a great movie one of the all time Classics.
An interesting WW2 naval movie. Need to be awake to pick up the twist at the end, which neatly ties the themes of the movie together.
For an Oldie it's up with the Greats, Exciting, and keeps you entertained throughout the whole movie. Great
Sailor of the King (aka Single-Handed) is a 1953 WWII war film based on the war adventure novel “Brown on Resolution” by C. S. Forester.
From Director Roy Boulting (Brighton Rock), it launches with a British naval ship being torpedoed, a high-ranking officer ends up stranded on a German-occupied island. After stealing a rifle he finds a way to slow the German's progress while a lethal hunt for him goes on.
