I absolutely love these headphones. Sure, they may hurt after wearing them for a few hours, and the cord could be longer, but i’ve never had music sound so beautiful on a pair of headphones before. If you’re looking for something for music then these are worth the money. I have tried using these for gaming and I don’t recommend it. A cheap, over the ear gaming headset would be better suited. I keep both on my desk and grab these when music is the priority.
The sennheiser momentum headphones are the best sounding headphones I have ever used, I have used them for a while now, however I would not recommend these for gaming as they get rather uncomfortable after a while (2–3 hours) they are aimed more for sound enthusiasts anyway. I was using them with a Pro-ject Head Box SE II and a sound blaster X-fi titanium, I can't emphasize enough how good they sound buy some if your wallet allows.
