"Great beginning to a great series"
5 stars"

This series of books is all about how CHERUB began. I really love that Robert Muchamore shows the brutality of the Nazi occupation of Germany. AAA+ Great Read

"enlightenment at last, absolutely brilliant"
4 stars"

Once again Robert Muchamore gives us much more than we expected. The French setting heightens the thrill not to mention the intensity of the whole organisation. The Escape brings enlightenment and realisation to the reader and at the same time as telling us CHERUB's history we get a fast paced thriller which makes things that much more exciting. If this is the first of the CHERUB novels you have read you will be going out as soon as you have finnished to find the others. If you have read all the previous ones you will find this one undenyably the best of the lot!

Description

Henderson's Boys is a new series offering readers a chance to see CHERUB before it existed, with the books showing the lives of 4 orphans in Nazi controlled France.

Summer, 1940. Hitler's army is advancing towards Paris, and millions of French civilians are on the run. Amidst the chaos, two British children are being hunted by German agents. British spy Charles Henderson tries to reach them first, but he can only do it with the help of a twelve-year-old French orphan. The British secret service is about to discover that kids working undercover will help to win the war. For official purposes, these children do not exist.
