The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is one of the best animes to be created in the last 5 years. While it may seem to be another high school comedy it isn't. You will fall in love with the SOS Brigade as each member is awesome and lovable in their own way. This anime also has excellent English dubs as well. That said you should definately watch this anime because it is one of the best modern animes out there.

Definitely one of the best anime's around. Kyon's commentary and Haruhi's perso­nality are some of the best things in it. It's a definite must watch – I'm sure that any one who watches it will love it.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, when you say that Anime title or talk about any of the lovable and Moe characters from the series any Otaku will instantly know what you are talking about. I first discovered the series in 2008 and have since purchased Season 1, Season 2, The Haruhi-Chan and Nyoron Churuya San series as well as the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya Movie. I love all the character designs as wonderful storylines full of magnificent detailed drawrings. Any Otaku and Anime fan should own this title in their library of Anime DVDs, I know I do – Out of all my 300+ Anime DVDs I own, this is one of my top 10 favourite and has pride of place on my Anime DVD shelf. Otaku's rule! As does Haruhi.
