I was expecting something rather different. However, this is turning into quite an entertaining yarn. There's a good part of the book yet to be read. So far I'm quite enjoying it.

The 4th book in the series keeps up with the previous entries frantic pace. Like the other books in the series I found it hard to put down. Can't wait until the next book is released in 2011
This book is a great addition to The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. Each page makes you want to read the next one, and so on! I have always loved Michael Scott's writing, and this book is as great as any other. The twins' battle against the dark elders continues and the war gets even more interesting! Definitely a great read! I can't wait for the next one!!!
Sophie and Josh have returned to San Francisco. They must protect themselves from the Dark Elders, but they've not yet mastered the magic they'll need to do so. Their trust in Nicholas Flamel is shaken, and their friend Scatty is still missing. Unbenownst to the twins, John Dee has amassed an enormous army of foul creatures, with which he plans to battle Nicholas and his wife Peronelle. In order for his plan to work, he must train a necromancer to raise the Mother of the Gods from the dead. The twins of legend will make the perfect pupils in his diabolical scheme. Fans of the “Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel” series will be breathless in anticipation of this thrilling new chapter in Sophie and Josh's adventures.
