In the six teenth hymn of the first section of the fourth Ashtaka some novel circumstances are narrated of the Asm'a N A muchi: mention has been made of him in the first and second sections, but here, for the first time, it is said of him, that he sends an army of women against indra, as if a nation of amazons were alluded to: the passage, however, is obscure, and the explanation imperfect (p. 279, v.
