Description

Urban economics is a dynamic, constantly evolving subject, central to the study and practice of economics. Unique in both its rigor and international treatment, A Companion to Urban Economics provides a state-of-the-art overview of this field, communicating its intellectual richness through a diverse portfolio of authors and topics. The text provides a set of expert, conceptually interesting, and engagingly written essays that together demonstrate the spirit of modern urban economics. This Companion provides an ideal supplement to urban economic textbooks in upper-level undergraduate urban economics courses or in master's level and professional courses, and will provide students with the background needed to address advanced topics in urban economics.
