A selection of recent cases to December, 1899, which appeared most appropriate to the object and scope of the Work, has been added. For other cases omitted from want of space, the reader is referred to the Works on which this Manual purports to be founded. The Trustee Act, 1893, and the Land Transfer Act, 1897 Part L, the provisions of which have been incorporated in the text, have, on account of their importance, been set out in the Appendix.
