Assassin's Creed II - Game of the Year edition (PS3 Essentials) reviews

Assassin's Creed 2 surpassed all of my expectations. I found the original Assassin's Cre­ed's game play a little repetitive and monotonous. With Assassin's Creed 2 there is far more variation in tasks and objectives. Free running and combat scenes are also more fluid.

I completed this game within a week as it was so addictive! The storyline and twists and turns drew me in. Whether you're a fan of the first game or were a little underwhelmed, try Assassin's Creed 2, you won't be disappointed.

So much easier gameplay-wise than its predecessor and great scenery too. The storyline is pretty decent as well. This is Assassins Creed getting into its stride and before Ubisoft just stopped caring.

Assassin's Creed 2 is definitely one of the best Assassin's Creed games. It adds all new features and content to the series and has a great story and great gameplay!

Awesome game, which Assassins creed isnt-! Ive been doing what every casual/pro gamer does in their life, im replaying the entire series. Ive always enjoyed the AC games and this one id say is one of my faveourites. However the only downside I feel is the game can get rather repetative after a fair amount of time, the only desire to continue playing after completing the story was to get all the trophies ha. Still would rate this as one of the best in the AC series.

Brilliant sequel to the original Assassins Creed! Improved climbing mechanics speed up the game and make exploring much more enjoyable. Has plenty of side missions/ collectables to keep you busy for ages! If you liked the original game this is a must have.

This game is one that if I saw it in the shop I would have thought that it looked stupid, but after playing this, it is a good game.

Assassin's Creed 2 is an amazing game with it's outstanding scenery and rennaissance setting, blended with interesting characters like Leonardo DaVinci and fast paced action, it's no surprise this was named game of the year.

Assasins Creed 2 wasnt game of the year for nothing, its takes fast pace action and couples it with breath taking sceneary to make an awesome game. With a huge range of weapons and a fight system like none before it assasins creed allows you to cause havoc in a whole new way. With an interesting story to go with it this game will keep you busy for hours. Both thumbs up!
