The book is very true to the storyline of the game, although there are slight differences. The book has more focus on the relationships between characters than you see in the actual game itself. I think that if you are a fan of the game and thought that the it could use a little more “romance” than this book is worth the read.

I enjoyed the book, although I found it followed a little too closely to the game storyline. I feel it could have differed slightly more and added a little extra too the story to really make the book its own. However, I did enjoy reading it and I still feel that even if you have or have not played the game, you will enjoy this book. 4 stars (just).
Really good to read
Being a huge fan of the game's, I thought I'd give the books a good go and I was not disappointed! The development of the characters from the novel really helped with expanding on the game. Definitely a must have for an Creed fans, well worth it!
Just because you've played the game does not mean you will like this book. I have done both and find this book incredibly insightful in to the mind of the characters. I do recommend giving the book a go.
This book gives an in-depth look at Ezio Auditore's life. Even more than the actual game. When I read this book I actually learned some things about Ezio's life that I never would have know by just playing the game. Very good read.
Just like the game this book goes through the journey
Teen son loved this book.
Loving the games and books now too.
Thanks Mighty Ape
Gives a more structured and emotional perspective on the otherwise free roam, sandbox game. Though not recommended for those that haven't played the games, it's good for those that have.
If you have never played the game before then you will enjoy this book just as much if you had played it. Only being part way through the book I thought first to give my insight into it. The book does parallel the game in many respects which you would expect since it was secondary to the book and was not the inspiration for the game. I find it a very enjoyable read with light-hearted moments in it which reflected the Renaissance era it is based in. Ezio Auditore is the main protagonist of the book and you will find yourself become really connected with him on his journey from Nobel to Master Assassin but you'll have to read the book to find out the journey he has taken. Well worth the read.
A great read for those who have and haven't played the game. The plot, characters and vast aray of weaponry make for interesting ride!!
The Author has found a whole new world for teenagers to immerse themselves in and I encourage any parent who has had enough of watching their kids waste away in the world of electronics to give these books a go!
