"Stunning"
5 stars"

Disturbed have always been a highly talented band. This has never been displayed more strongly than on the band's latest opus: Asylum! Yes they have changed into a more hard rock direction but for those partial to a bit of Metal (like Myself) check out Warrior, Animal and Innocence. The album finishes with a fresh and interesting change: A U2 cover. Despite this anomaly Disturbed never fail to amze on this, their best album to date.

"Bringing the sound to life!"

If you've been a fan from the sickness then you'll be in for a treat. The music has stayed the same but different, giving you a taste of Sickness & Believe but still getting through to the heavy rock of Indistructable & 10,000 Fists all in the one album with a bit of a fresh zest added to it again.

Love it!!

This band and cd are good the sound quality of the cd is louder & better than any of my other cds at the same volume. The music and tracks are well preformed and are good too. I would recomend to anyone that likes MODERN METAL or HARD ROCK

"Disturbed - Asylum"

Purchased on Mighty Ape

This album was a big turning point for the band. I enjoyed the music and songs with vigor but they lost their edge and “likeability” (for want of a better/existing word) when they were played a lot by those around me. That said, I spent many highly enjoyable hours listening to their songs that were still in true Disturbed fashion.

"Overall nothing new, but a good effort"
4 stars"

I got this album day one, but wasn't overly impressed with all the tracks. Don't get me wrong, there are a few gems on this album such as Another Way to Die, Never Again, to name a couple, but all of their songs are all very similar across all of Disturbed's albums. The best thing about this album, however, is that after being juggernauts of metal for so long, they have not succumbed to the infection called mainstream. With the release of Asylum, Disturbed can now call themselves the new kings of metal. Metallica had some poor songs in the bands history, as well, so Disturbed should be happy with this album. So to sum it up, don't expect anything completely different to Disturbed's previous sounds, but its great that Disturbed can still produce some brilliant songs after already writing so many. 4 Stars
