While I do believe that this IS a very enjoyable movie, and a milestone for cgi animation, I do agree that the pricing is just ludicrous… After all, it IS just a single film… Entire TRILOGIES with limited edition packaging don't cost this much. Sure, die-hard fans will pick this up, and its their right (hey.. Its their money) but I sure wish they wouldn't -it sends a horrible message to the industry, because this really is overpriced for what it is.
Also, there will be another release of this in a few months – one that is in 3D, so if the pricing here is any indication, you might want to start saving now…
