Banana Bag reviews

I have had a banana bag bought in USA for many years kept on the bench ,but thought i would give the fridge one a try. Put half my bananas in each bag and i have to say the fridge bag ones were the best after 2 weeks. Can recommend this product. Thanks Mighty Ape Kay

It keeps the bananas fresher in the fridge and stops them getting overripe and black.

Have been using this and it works exactly as it says and does a great job. The moment I tried to use the loop part, one side pulled out and while this isn't enough to send back as I can easily just use the strings on their own, it's still something to consider.

I wanted to try this bag as we are reducing our plastic usage, but aware that bananas can’t be stored in mesh with other fruit, this bag is perfect. It keeps my bananas safe and separate. Their skin may still go dark if you keep them in the fridge but the banana doesn’t go soft. Love this!

… But the draw string is not adequately held around the top and the bananas do turn black pretty quickly.

So disappointed with this purchase. I divided a bunch of bananas in two, put half in the bag and left the other half in the fruit bowl for two days. The bowl bananas were pretty much the same, the bagged bananas were black spotted and softer. I'd purchased a bag for my daughter at the same time and her results were the same. Really a waste of money.

Cracker purchase

At first I thought this may not be all that great but I was surprised at just how good and fresh they kept my banana's really brilliant product.Very happy with purchase.

The banana bag works really well – no more brown bananas!

Works as it should, holds enough bananas for about a week and keeps them nice and firm, definitely worth the money spent
