These Gentlemen of Arms are wel' known for the Harmony of their association, and kindly feelings towards each other. With reference to the Contents of this Volume, a portion of it was printed in the Stemmata Anglicana, but much is herein added, with appendixes not before published, together with many notes, and other elucidatory matter, which combined with the Con tents of the other Volume, I trust will be found an aggregate of more general interest to the public at large, than the Peerage Histories hitherto published have developed.
