Author Biography:

Paula Howard worked at Johnson & Johnson as the Principal Scientist in Ortho Clinical Diagnostics for seven years, at OneBlood, Inc. as the GxP Training Manager for 2 years and Director of Regulated and Business Application Training for 3 years. She has certificates in eLearning instructional design and is currently working as a career coach. Nonie Hicks is the Program Manager of Medical Technology Education at OneBlood, Inc. and a specialist in the Blood Bank Technology Program. She is also teaching at the Tampa General Hospital School of Medical Laboratory Science as a clinical laboratory educator for blood banking. She has taught in various CLS programs for over 15 years, and has also served in a variety of roles in the clinical lab science space, including Lead Technologist, Blood Bank Quality Assurance Compliance Coordinator, Technical Supervisor, and Medical Technologist.
