This brilliant re-release packs a punch of 28 nostalgic episodes of arguably the best Batman series of all time. A truly well crafted, animated and inspired series that evokes all the right moods and breathes character effortlessly into the city of Gotham. A handful of the episodes are sure misses but the majority is collection worthy.
A delicious price too, meow.

Theres nothing wrong with the DVDs themselves, its a great set for the first season its just that the other seasons of Bathman the animated series for some reason have never been released on our shores. Makes my shelf look incomplete.
The best Batman show, and best animated series. Period. Was much loved during my childhood, and it still holds up. Eventually spun out to include Superman and the greater DC universe, with a scope that hasn't been achieved since. The closest animated show would be Spectacular Spider-man, which was cancelled all to quick.
This is the definition of Batman. Characters and stories are dark. Batman works in the shadows. 28 episodes great deal of watching to be done.
Watching this takes me back to my childhood days which is the main reason I purchased it. I also bought this at an awesome price :)
