My sister bought this for my 3 year old girl to be used with supervision as it is recommended for 4 to 10 year olds and so far it has been a hit. With the help of her 5 year old brother (who really loves it too because not all the colours are girly) and her grandmother and I we have spent plenty of afternoons making jewelery for ourselves and one another. It is great fun and as said above they are using their imaginations to create lots of new designs and developing fine motor skills locking the pieces into place and pulling them apart. We supervision I think it would be great activity when friends come over for a play date and with 500 pieces their is enough for 3–4 children to play with without fighting over them. The colours are lovely, it is durable and all the pieces easily fit back in the container! I highly recommend this product and so does my sister who has two packs at home for her four girls and their friends.
