BBC2 Is a game unlike a lot of FPS currently on the market, where as most current FPS are one sided i.e either excellent on-line – or excellent single player – this gem has it all, only niggle is the campaign is relatively quick (But what multi player FPS has a long single player campaign) – but the storyline is great and there is plenty of PS3 Trophy's on offer, weapon unlocks really make the campaign fun to play again as well, so there is still a lot of play value to the single player campaign! Destructive environments/Fros­tbite Engine being some of the more exciting features (this is especially true in multi-player, what's better than destroying an entire warehouse taking out the snipers/campers hiding inside?) – Also note that this game has awesome bullet and environmental physics which makes for very exciting shoot-outs. Squad based game play really makes for alot of fun on-line with your friends (don't worry you don't need friends ;) , you can join a random squad in any game – or just go Rambo) Excellent selection of on-line modes, A great selection of Kits to use as various classes all with there own special abilities – waiting for you to unlock their upgrades and guns! No matter your taste in games I really doubt you will be able to find a reason to put this one down, from perfecting long range sniping to practising your areal acrobatics to destroying buildings on massive maps (a size incomparable to the more popular multi player FPS), you would not regret gracing your gaming system with this.

I rented it once thinking it would be just another shooter, after ten minutes of playing it I turned it off, returned it to the video store and then went and bought it. Thats right… Its that good! Best online game thats out there. Beats mw2, hands down.

Truely one of the best FPS's out there, this game is so huge that i'll have to split up this review into two pieces… Single Player and Multiplayer.

--Single Player– “A great add on, but multiplayer is where this game shines”

That quote says it all. I would not recommend buying this game unless you plan to play it online, due to the campaign mode being relatively short (approx 7–8 hours on normal) although still longer than some other FPS's, the campaign was not the main focus of this game. Considering this, it still offers an engaging story with a decent variation of environments and situations, combined with huge landscapes, revolutionary vehicle gameplay, above average voice acting and good graphics. Overall I'd give the Single Player 7/10.

--Multiplayer– Where do I start? many words come to mind when I think about BFBC2's multi­player… “Amazing”… “Epic”… “Beautiful” to name a few. The multiplayer in this takes every element a good FPS should have and seamlessly combines it into one masterpiece. You want giant battles over huge landscapes with 32 players? DONE! You want revolutionary vehicle gameplay, whether it be Tanks, Humvees, ATV's, UAV's or Helecopters? DONE! You want realistic long range sniping, considering bullet drop, travel time, rifle power and even bullet weight? DONE! You want a detailed player class system, Medics, Engineers, Assault Specialists or Recon Specialists, each with their own unique upgrades and weapon attachments? DONE! The multiplayer in this game is truely where this game shines, words cannot descibe the awesomeness of this game 10/10 no doubt

Overall I'd give this game a solid 9/10, if you havn't played it then I strongly recommend you do! If you like FPS's you will not be disappointed

Bought this for my mate. I own this on Xbox 360, one of the best games ever in my 360 collection. Frankly this is a must-have for any decent gaming collection! An awesome single-player campaign, an amazing full-on multiplayer experience just as good and possibly even better than BF3 and BF4.

A bit dated by todays generation of games but still a solid gaming experience with the little amount of cash I had to part with.

If you want to play a game that does not limit you to small sandbox maps, this is it. The best on-line FPS game at present by miles.

This game is very enjoyable for players that enjoy online shooters with a rpg feel to it. However i have come to notice that i cannot play this game for too long before i lose interest. The good news though is that after a couple of days not played i start too feel the need to shoot some more players =)

So if you have a busy lifestyle and see yourself playing a game too much then this might be the game for you!!!

I've had this for a couple of weeks now and while I really enjoyed playing through the single player story it's the online multi player that really makes this game.

There's nothing quite like playing against a lot of other real people in an environment that can be destroyed completely. There's no hiding in buildings like other fps games. That wall you want to hide behind? probably not the safest bet.

This is a fast paced game where strategy and assertiveness pays off. Even if you're a casual gamer I think you'll really enjoy this one. It's got months or replay value – not that you're ever playing the same game as every game is different depending on who you randomly end up playing against.

Having purchased and played (many times) Battlefield: Bad Company 1, I couldn't wait for 2 to come out. And I wasn't disappointed when I got it. It's still got the 4 guys for 1 in it, and the game play and graphics are spectacular. Just gotta love the mini gun in the helicopter. ! This game is worth every penny, you will not be disappointed.

How does one start off for this game. As usual I hire games how to try them first before would buy and recommend them.

This game is so realistic in graphics and physic's it is almost completely beyond belief. The Frostbite Dice gaming engine does a really good job. The ability to completely destroy your environment.

Single player Story and Game Play:

The single player missions and game play were good enough to play, but having clocked the game in less than 8 hours was a little disappointing (just to note though, i didn't collect all the trophies). In some parts of the game were you should have stormed the village you could sit next to a ammo point and have max ammo for that entire part of the mission. This helped me a lot, I could rocket the village to my hearts content. Overall the single player game score is 4/5.

Multiplayer Missions:

This contains 5 types of game play:

Rush: Rush has several aspects to the game; The first is that these map types are defender vs attacker. Generally there are 4 parts to a Rush Map. The attackers have to breach each base and destroy points of interest. Once the attackers reach the last base it becomes the “Last Stand”, that is if the attackers get this far.

Conquest: Conquest is generally one part of the Rush Map and it is a bit like the classic Star Wars Battlefront Conquest. you have to capture locations and do this for the entirety of the map.

Conquest/Rush: Is a mixture of the games, one map might be conquest, and another might be rush. Enough said….

Squad Rush: This is were things get interesting in Multiplayer gaming for Bad Company. A Squad is made up of 4 players with a maximum number of 4 Squads.

Team DM Squad: This is Classic Death Match, however there are 4 players in a squad and a maximum of 4 squads. This type of game was the first to reach a death count.

Overall Multiplayer: It was quite a difficult get into as you were very limited in your weapon choice. But once you start to level up it becomes naturally easy. I give this 4.5/5
