Works just as intended to. If need a networking cable, I would highly recommend a Belkin one just like this.

I got sick of how slow wireless lan/broadband is so I bought 4 of these and ran them under my house to all of the rooms so we can all enjoy fast internet on our computers, and I'm paranoid about how wireless may cause cancer, but wired is about 33% faster than wireless I think.
