"The defining fighting game of this generation"
5 stars"

I love fighting games, I've played every single one that has been released this generation. And this is without a doubt the very best of the 7th gen. Excellent visuals, deep comabt system with widely varying characters. An amazing OST that has several spaces on my iPOD. The netcode for online play is flawless, it is almost like you are playing with someone right next to you, compared to its contempories I am awestruck at how amazing they have refined the online to a handful of frames in terms of delay. Still retains a lively and diverse community, a must buy for any fighting game fan.

"best fighting game in 2008 imo."
5 stars"

Created by Arc System Works, the makers of Guilty Gear series, Hokuto no Ken and Sengoku Basara X on PSP.

This is one of the most popular fighting games in Japan at the moment.

The game play is surprisingly balanced and offers a roost of 12 distinctively different characters.

"Something else maybe"

If you prefer tekken's flowing fighting style don't get this game, this game is one of those old arcade games, some may like games like that, but me, sorry I found it boring and monotonous with a lack of moves. That's just me though.
