Although I haven't attempted very many of the recipes as yet – the cake my daughter and I created for a family birthday – not only looked fantastic – the taste was out of this world!

A super book very nice and easy to follow recipes. I have already tried a few with great results. Really happy with this book.

When I received the Bluebells Cakery cookbook, I was delighted by the beautiful photos of the cakes and flower arrangements, but I had to try the recipes before deciding on whether it was worth the price or not. I tried the chocolate cake recipe yesterday for a birthday party, and I knew it had hit the jackpot because the birthday celebrant didn't want to share the cake after she took a bite! Looking forward to trying the lemon curd, lemon cupcakes, and carrot cake next time. Ms. Goodwin's clear instructions really make the recipes manageable, despite the intimidating photos. Looking forward to her next book!
These are tried and true recipes, beautifully decorated, and also incorporating some special ingredients to dress up old classics. A must have book to cater for an elegant tea party or simply to make good old-fashioned home-baked treats for the family.
