It looks kool floating around my monitor. The brightness is not bad and the fluorescent glow lasted up to 10 minutes after unplugged.
Wish it came with built-in on and off switch without unplugging usb adaptor.

I bought this to use at night next to my computer to see more around me and generally decrease the strain of computer light on my eyes by having more of a lit environment. It does its job well and does not heat up at all. My only problem is that whilst it is lightweight, you have to have it in an L shaped position so gravity does not make it fall over. Whilst it's not a major problem, it can be a little misleading especially if you want it to be straight up etc.
