If you were stuck on a desert island and could only choose ONE game … Meh, you know the rest. Honestly, the best way to review this game is to throw down a few adjectives and then flesh them out a little. BEAUTIFUL: the graphics and visuals are absolutely stunning. Bright colours (if Gears Of War was the movie Seven, this would be Kick Ass), fine detail on everything, from the ground at your feet to the enemies you're about to spill the innards of on the ground at your feet, set pieces that will honestly make you gasp – massive mountains peaks towering above with deep deep valleys impossibly far below, and you up to your behind in trouble somewhere in between. RELENTLESS: Like the ad on TV, ‘no boring bits’. Forget moody introspection. Forget noir-ish, arty-farty excesses. This game starts hard and heavy, and doesn't let up. Enemies, bullets, rocks (whole mountains sometimes) etc come at you without stopping. And don't get me started on multiplayer! Talk about intense! It's wave after wave of utter mayhem. UNSUBTLE: You've got those silly drawn out, flawlessly choreographed lovemaking scenes in movies, right? And then you have the elbow-in-the-rib ‘Oi … You awake?’ method. This game is the latter, through and through (actually, according to my mum, my dad invented that method. But I digress … ). Language that will make your nana have a cardiac event (so, don't let her PLAY it, right??), graphic violence that will make you feel like having a shower after viewing it, and the concept of Sensitive New Age Guy? Not been invented in this world. CLOSING REMARKS: This game is like a hybrid of Gears Of War and the old Duke Nukem 3D; GOW's hyper machismo expressed in over-the-top man-mountains with huge weapons killing nasty looking evil monsters, and the goofy, cartoony, exhilarating silliness that made DN3D so much fun to play over and over again. I've given this a perfect score, and would really struggle to believe anyone could NOT like this game a whole heap. It's so good that not only will you be glad you spent money on it, you'll wish you'd paid twice the price. (Ok, that's just stupid, but you get what I mean). BUY EEETTT!!!

A game that revels in the shlock of 80's ‘B’ action movies. Full of unapologetic excess and stupidity, from the over the top gore and skill points to the profanity and innuendos. If that sounds like fun to you, then you'll love it

Its like Borderlands but not quite as good. Its just a run around and shoot everything game, which is fun when you just want a good time and don't want to be doing puzzles and stuff like that.

If you are contimplating the purchase of this title do not hesitate !!buy it now quick!! The sooner you do the quicker it will be on your door step ready to enjoy. This game is fantastic. If you want something simple, graphically violent , seriously fun and different you have found it.

I love this game. Its so funny, challenging and it has a really good storyline.

The demo didn't really do anything for me, but I picked this up when it was cheap and was pleasantly surprised. It's immature but not stupid, the gameplay is fun, even the story is surprisingly compelling. Good for some laughs, definitely recommended.

Don't get me wrong. Those with delicate ears shouldn't go anywhere near this game. You need to be pretty open to extreme violence, unlimited umm… salty language and for those sensitive “Dcktts”, well I feel sorry for you because you are really missing out. This game has it all – fantastic graphics, a great engaging story line which can make you laugh out loud with the dialogue and really care about the characters and events. It's cheap as on MA and I guarantee you won't regret buying it – in fact I'm sure you won't be able to stop playing the game for months. And if any of you disagree with me… “Ï'll kill your d*cks”

No great evolving story just bullet storm your way across this world

Amazing game with unique skillshot system that keeps you trying new kills and keeps the game entertaining, alright plot and some funny humour makes this a must have when you want to sit back and shoot away…

It is a amazing game totally worth playing love it

I bought this game as soon as it originally came out, through Mightyape. Loved every second of it. Something different to the usual HIGH dosage I inject myself of Battlefield, Call of Duty or Halo etc & the like. I still have it, like many others. Definitely an exciting kind of game, has the feel of Gears of War, no surprise there right…

Really fun game, cheap now, borderlands style humour.

My flatmates and I all enjoyed bulletstorm. It was excellent fun being able to kick and leash enemies into terrain and other things like cacti and power cables. MUAHAHAHA. Plus we really enjoyed the humor. Definately not for kids, but great fun for an adult :)

We borrowed this game from family first and enjoyed it so much we had to purchase it. The story is great fun, love the various ways to kill the bad guys which adds challenge to the game. The main character starts off as a drunken lout, but by the end I was quite fond of him and really wanted him to kill the real bad guy.

Campaign is the best way to play this, we haven't tried online, but have heard that some of the kills aren't available online.

Great game play awesome graphics and good story line

If you like gore or spartan kicking people off cliffs this game will make squeal with joy as kicking everything and anything can have explosive responses

This game is full-on, always some action. One of the coolest games I have ever played.
