Call of Duty: Black Ops (Classics) previews

After Infinity Ward failed to provide patches for MW2, im glad to see that Treyarch have listened to our complaints and improved on MW2 in all the ways that it should have been originally.

This game looks great but the only problem i can find is that the Call of duty series has been going on for quite some time now and I begin to wonder what is going to be in this game that makes it different from the other games in the series.

Yes every game in the series has had differences but the main gamplay does not change that much and neither does the multiplayer. Take Call of duty 4 and 6 and look at the multiplayer side of it the only differences are the killstreaks and the weapons but the main gamplay runs pretty much the same

I personally have never owned World at war but I have played it and have heard so much about it and the comments are not good, but saying that, Zombie mode was amazing and fun.

As Treyarch made World at war and is now making Black ops you have to think, Is it going to be that good

In my opinion I think this will be a rather enjoyable game with some bad points as most games have, and will hopefully bring back a mode that is similar to Zombies

I hope this preview is helpful to you and remember no one is 100% right so it may turn out completely different from the rest and be amazing but then it might just end up being a different story line but the rest is practically the same.

It's set after World War 2 and before Modern Warfare. All the other Call of Duty games are beautiful, this one looks even better than Modern Warfare 2.

Black ops is looking like an amazing game. I'm so excited to play story mode as all the Cod games to date have had fantastic stories. And also this should be a huge improvement on the very disapointing MW2 multiplayer because with infinity ward gone welcome back good conenctions with local only searching waahoo!!

i just watched the world premier of the gameplay, and it looks awesome.. good bye Infinity ward hello Treyarch. COD WAW was awesome, now this one will be even better.

While the COD has vastly improved over the past two years, it has now ground to a stand still in terms of originality. The gameplay that was revolutionary in COD4 now seems old and stale. For this series to continue to be popular, something needs to change (again). I will stick with Halo Reach for now, I've had enough of the same rehashed game every 6 months.

Black ops will promise to bury the all disappointing (too easy) modern warfare 2 ! I can picture myself base camping in a heli for hours killing everyone :D The black ops single player looks unbeatable from the e3 2010 footage. Also finally a small scare element seems to have been introduced to the campaign mode on MWblack ops. this shall go on the -to buy- list. 5 stars all over

The Call of Duty frachise is always in a tug of war between developing companies Infinity Ward and Treyarch, both of which have become very good at making incredibly popular games.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is set during the Cold War. You'll be playing as a member of the “Studies and Observation Group” (S.O.G.) an elite special unit of soldiers.

Modern Warfare 2 had a rather mediocre story, while this was definately made up by multiplayer, Infinity Ward left the single player storyline lacking the quality that is expected of the Call of Duty franchise. Treyarch's game World at War has a well written storyline. Throughout the game each level progressed in a way that made it almost impossible to put down.

World at War set the benchmark for Treyarch, they will be pulling out all the stops to ensure that Black Ops is the best game they have made to date.

From World at War to now this. Black Ops looks awesome. Modern warfare 2 will be forgotten and this will be all I will be playing. Can't Wait.

I have been looking foward to this game for a very long time. Enjoyed MW2 immensely, couldn't ask for a better multiplayer experience. I am very hopeful that Black Ops will be even better. The first Cold War game to be ever released, hopefully it will create a new First Person Shooting experience.

Hello everyone if your reading this please LISTEN you must buy this…(from mighty ape!) because this game is going to become a GOD GAME theres so many things you can do online and offline im not going to say them all you should look it up but I will say..........­....Treyarch have confirmed it........ZOMBIES IS RETURNING to black ops I really cant wait now SO HURRY UP AND BUY IT!!! :)

No commando perk. No nuke boosting. No deathstreak (painkiller). Zombies.

Wow looks amasing ive played all of the cod games and there really good mw2 was amasing really enjoyed the multiplayer 10th pretige not hacked :)

Mw2 was a huge let down in my opinion, I don't think it was a coincidence that Infinity Ward mainly developed MW2. WaW was really well done, CoD4 too. Since Black Ops is set in a new era of time than the other Call Of Duty games this makes for fresh content and a new feel to the game. Also was that Vietnam I saw? SWEET!

Cant wait for this one, Ive waited too long for another treyarch call of duty. The attention to detail and variety in this game looks amazing, cant wait to play!

Played other new release games yes graphics are great but I hope this is better than medal on honor which only lasted 5 hours halo reach was about 12 hours not on easy games like just cause 2 & borderlands lasted over 80 hours with free roaming I hope this for this cost keeps you playing it for some time

The Call of Duty titles seemed to be getting better and better, that's until MW2 came along. This game could potentially be the best game this year, but if it just follows in the footsteps of MW2 could also just fail in the huge wave of big titles being released this year.
