From split-screen to single player, and many exciting game modes, COD: MW3 has yet to disappoint! Like many other fps games, it included a series campaign missions, personally I didn't play the campaign but went straight ahead to online play (the big noise was about) and was not disappointed at all! This fast paced game is perfect to the last detail, and will be for years to come!

Albeit I am not the biggest fan of FPS games of this style, I can't deny that Infinity Ward have almost perfected this corner of the market.

You're pretty much buying a MW2 patch, with little to no innovation. It's just Activision showing more games down your throat for money.

The game is no doubt good, it's all the core gameplay that we love, but it really is just a bad excuse to pay more money.

This is the best game I have ever played. All these losers on here moaning about paying $130 for it should just stay playing MW1 or MW2 with alll the schoolkids. Is that fun- This is super fast and the best action you can get. Highly recommended.

This is a great game with awesome customisable guns. The one bad thing is that for new players (like me) online mode is really hard because there are a lot of really good players so you die a lot but apart from that it is a great game :)

Has everything that was brilliant about MWF2 and adds to it. Great storyline, music and gameplay. Online is amazing and spec ops with the new survival feature is great

I love this game for the online multi player, the game play is easy to get used too, and the guns are displayed so well. Also I enjoy the spec ops missions.

Bought this game so long ago and it still hasn't become boring! If you have the opportunity to get it and have an internet connection to play multi-player I highly recommend
this game to you!

Fast gameplay which makes it very good

This game is going to be great, I am a fan of Call of Duty because of the fantastic fast gameplay and smooth graphics, I don't care if it's not as realistic as Battlefield 3. BF3 only looks good on computer, on console it looks stupid and will never be as smooth as any Call of Duty. This game has upgraded basically everything but the graphics, they actually took the time to make GOOD NEW GAMEMODES, rather than just ripping off every other shooter. I like both Battlefield and Call of Duty, if you only like one, then you have a bad taste in games and most likely suck at them. People are only trolling because it came out near when BF3 did, if it came out 4 months later, no one would care.

Intense storyline that has you shooting down choppers, hijackjacking submarines and pretty much living the black ops dream.

Online is bad ass!!!!!!!!!

This game is sick, it would have got 5 stars but it is really just another chapter to the last one as opposed to something new and ground breaking.

That being said, this game is the business and my world is a better place having played it ;-)

I find the campaign really good and fun but I wish it was a bit longer and I was sad at the near ending but it was great fun and everyone should try it :)

COD4 is the leader for the series of call of duty by far; however, mw3 puts its hand up and goes im coming for you cod4. with a range of new game modes, guns and perks mw3 gives you a great game. people have been labelling mw3 as “mw2.5” they are completley wrong. i will admit the graphics are very close looking however the playing style is far far far different. if ur looking for a fast paced fps then mw3 is ur game…if ur looking for a camper based game buy bf3

This game is not the most amazing thing ever but it is a good game, survival mode is very fun and addicting along with spec ops and multiplayer…nobody really cares about campaign. Although everyone says battlefield is better, I believe not. Because battlefeild is a better game graphics wise etc. But it still is not as fun as mw3 therefore I believe its better off to get this game.

This one kicks butt. I love it. The game carries on from the MW2 saga. plus more. The online gaming is totally awesome especially teh Spec os one which I play mostly. Great weapns and extras too. Great game

Another great edition from infinity ward, like the way they have added stuff to the guns etc. Very similar to Modern Warfare 3 and great variety of maps.

What a fantastic game. The first level has you right back in the action seat and it just gains momentum and pace throughout the subsequent levels. The multiplayer is intense and just doesnt let up but keeps on giving! The addition of the new game play is so intuitive and addictive. Just pure entertainment!

Modern Warfare 3 is pretty much 3 games in one. I mean you get a thrilling campaign, epic multiplayer and a co-op mode called Spec Ops. The campaign takes off from where MW2 left off and it was no let down. The multiplayer focuses on balanced and competitive public matches to test all skill levels. Spec Ops introduces and brand new Survival Mode which builds upon the round based gameplay of zombies with some new Mission Modes to play. Any shooter fan should have this game in their collection. Must buy.

Having received my game (Thanks mighty Ape for speedy delivery) and playing it for 4 hours last night, I got to say LOVE IT. Great how it continued on from the last game, Soap and McTavish are back, story line great, graphics and sound terrific. I have read some of the negative comments here on Mighty Ape, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but how can you comment on a game you have not played. I would recommend this game to anyone and everyone. I also have BF3 which is a great game too, however, and I hate to say it, but MW3 is my pick of the two.

I got it this morning ! I even convinced my mum that I had to stay home and play it . BEST choice ever (: Being the only girl in school who plays it makes it even better ! Great storyline , awesome multiplayer , just .. EPIC (:

Not too bad, but not the best CoD we've seen. If you're after fast paced though you can't go wrong! As for the price, I can get it $20 cheaper in one store and for $90 on a online store

This game is the defanitly the most amazing game iv ever played for a shooting game. The campain is awesome but after you finish that dont stop thea… get into that online play.. wont take long and you will be dominating the battlefields. Id highly recommend this game for anyone who enjoyed the call of duty series or for anyone who likes shooting games. this is the game for you. a defanite 10 out of 10 for me. gudluck and injoy :)

Worth the money

Survival was the best on this. Needs a re-do for sure!

Reviewing this in 2015 should feel odd but honestly it's the only Call of Duty I still go back to. This game was amazing when it came out in 2011 and still holds up today. Campaign: a fantastic epic conclusion to the greatest Call of Duty storyline filled with good writing, awesome locations and loads of super setpieces. Spec Ops missions: some fun challenges for you and a buddy, especially fun trying to beat them all on veteran difficulty. Spec Ops Survival: SO UNDERATED! This is one of the best new things to come out of the CoD series to date. It's great! You can play on all of the maps including all the dlc maps. All weapons are available and its just so much fun! This could have easily been a tacked on side idea or dlc, but it isn't, it's a fully fleshed out game mode and is a million times better than Ghosts squad survival crap and that annoying exo-survival thing from AW. Chaos mode: was late to the game as dlc so didn't get much love. It's a fun little distraction but a bit too simple compared to other modes. Also only 4 maps. Better than Ghosts stupid aliens version. Multiplayer: When the game came out multiplayer was awesome. It got a little rough with some weapon patches (though compared to nowerday CoDs this is nothing) but it came out strong with pretty balanced weapons. 4 years later and its still the best multiplayer experience in my opinion. Community game modes were a breath of fresh air and thuroughly enjoyable and infected is still a blast to play today and keeps me coming back. Face of was a really cool idea but kind of got ruined by party'. With 20 prestiges to work through with 80 levels each, some of the bet guns and coolest maps and by far THE BEST DLC PLAN CALL OF DUTY HAS EVER SEEN. Seriously the monthly maps were some of the best maps in CoD history and the spec ops missions were really fun as well. This was, is,and probably will be the best Call of Duty experience for a long time!

Great game excellent service and delivery

Here I was thinking that my partner and I could sit down to a marathon of MW3 in split screen mode, but it does not allow you to do this during Campaign. It only gives you certain missions you can do this with. Can anyone recommend a game (similar to MW3) that is Campaign Co-op- I really want to get a game like this. Great game for one player. Amazing graphics. Would highly recommend.

If you love sniping, Or Call of duty's in general this is the way to go, MW3 is the best!!!

like the game one thing I like about the game is the controller buttons are the same as black ops one and two so if you switch game you don't have to worry about working out the buttons keep up the good work mighty apes 10/10

a lot of whingers out there, but you either like cod games or you don't, I was addicted to this game for aaaaaagggees! got to prestige 10 online and waiting for black ops 2 now. but still worth buying, and there is plenty of competition online.

This game for some reason lacks personality. There isn't really anything different, new or special about it. Which lets face it, is what we wait for in a sequel. After trying this game out, I've gone back to playing Black Ops because MW3 does nothing for the imagination. I give it 3 stars for effort.

First time cod player (other than cod1 on pc) this is addictive and intense. Have owned it for a week and haven't taken it out of the console. The campaign is great, survival/missions co-op/split screen/solo is awesome, multiplayer is brilliant.

Once again Call of Duty delivers a knockout online multiplayer experiance, the best of the series so far. The campaign was enjoyable, anyone who has played a Call of Duty game knows exactly what to expect, over the top action, explosions every 5 seconds, tight gunplay and all running at 60fps. However I must say that I've played through it once, and probably never will again. While it wraps up the story for the Modern Warfare games, it is forgettable, the multiplayer is where it's at. If you're a fan of the series, you have to get this, you won't be disappointed.

First off, the campaign was great. Really enjoyed it. Multiplayer was fun as well for the first two months. However, it has been on a downhill slide over the last 3 or so months. The gameplay is very frustrating, as there are so many things that can screw you over.
I have played since COD4, and this game is my least favourite out of the lot. For newcomers to the series however, this game would be great. Very new-player friendly.

The graphics weren't great but it's still an enjoyable fresh story line. The franchise has really expanded with their diverse use of the battlefield and the gadgets they have come up with. Also with the twist that tied all three Modern Warfare titles together combines to make a campaign that really has some finer details and a complex in depth storyline.

Also the new Spec Ops missions combined with the new Survival Mode makes a refreshing alternative to just the campaign and multiplayer with a wide range of competitive levels. The leveling up within Spec Ops also an added bonus to encourage you to play more which enhances the experience, being able to unlock better weapons and other inventions by the franchise.

The maps weren't as well made as some of those from Modern Warfare 2 which have more freedom to move around within the map such as the crane and rooftops of Highrise. Something they might improve on in future maps to release. The weapons have expanded even more with a wider range of shotguns and sniper rifles and new and improved other versatile weapons, also with a new leveling system for each weapon. Including the new multiplayer game modes the overall experience has combined to make a complete change of seen coming from the old games and an overall greatly enjoyable game.

I got the game today and so far I am pretty happy,you will need a lot of patience special for multiplayer as the game does get challenging with other players constantly killing you.so if you have the patience get the game,or just have fun.

Yet again Infinity Ward have produced a fine, fine game. Can't wait to get some game time. After having played Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2, I found myself let down a bit by Blackops. This will undoubtedly be Activision's re­demption title.
