A new girl arrived at Dylan and Rens' classroom. She's different from the other girls and looks unkempt. Yet, Dylan wants to know more about her. One morning, he is called by Rens. "Come a little earlier to school. I've discovered something about Shirley!" he says excitedly. "All right, I'll drive through the path in the forest, I'll get there faster," Dylan replied. As a young mother from Enkhuizen, Netherlands, the author established a passion in writing for children. With her command nurtured from "Writing Youth Stories," a story emerged. During this, she began writing this story motivated from the course, "Surprise Yourself, Write a Book." This story developed into her first book entitled, Casual Witness.
