Catching Fire written by Suzanne Collins is the second book in The Hunger Games Trilogy. Much like the first book, it demands your attention from the very first page. Collins has done a rare thing by writing a sequel that actually improves on the first book. Readers will not be disappointed.

this is such an amazing book that i highly recommend to all.It is filled with drama , passion , love , worry and much much more. I do have to say that you should read the first book before moving onto this one.
Extra content not shown in the movie, very hard to put down.
I loved this book mainly because of the ingenious creation of the arena. Of course the whole book is breathtaking, but the highlight is surely the arena. Tick, tock.
This book is brilliant, if you thought The Hunger Games was good then be in for another great read, this book gives a lot more depth to the characters and helps you fully realise what Panem is truly like.
I could not put ‘Catching Fire’ down… Excellent read!
Little slow to get into it but still great book. Has been written so well!
Great book highly recommend :)
WOW! What a thrilling and unexpected end to the second book! This book was more gripping than the first, I couldn't put it down!
Soooooooo gud but the first book is probably better
No 2 in the trilogy did not disappoint.
Usually im not one to read books but this and the others are really hard to put down I love it
Awesome story. Couldn't put it down once I started reading it. Loved the story and the characters.
Catching fire was probably my least favourite of the series but I still found it a really good read. Gale comes into the story a bit more and adds to the romance element. I actually wasn't sure which guy I liked more and wanted Katniss to end up with. Gale is a stud and very likeable and Peeta is such a sweetheart. Some new interesting characters and inevitably more deaths. Katniss ends up back in the arena for a battle I found less thrilling than her first but still managed to keep me fairly riveted. I was getting a little sick of the fake romance and all the mushiness, I was glad when the fakeness started to die out and some genuine romance started to grow. Appeals to more than it's target audience which is obviously young adult, but as an adult I still really enjoyed this trilogy.
My niece couldn't wait to get into the 2nd book. It was fantastic she had the 3rd book as well as she couldn't bear the suspense
