"An Interesting and Horrifying Movie"

After watching the movie I was horrified at the long lasting devastation caused. I didn't like the idea of nuclear generation power before watching the movie now I'm definitely against it.

"Couldn't look away"

Even though this is a dramatization of the events of Chernobyl it is surprisingly mostly accurate with the few changes being that the actors speak English and a composite character added to represent the multiple scientists that came forward in the disaster. The writing, acting and filming leaves you unable to look away from the screen and needing to watch the next episode and continue to see the events unfold. Knowing that this actually happened sent shivers down my spine and I can't recommend this enough to people who know little or even a lot of this tragic event in history. Please, you just have to see it.

"Chernobyl is a drama set in the aftermath of the Russian nuclea"

Chernobyl was a comprehensive drama documentary of the disaster at the Russian nuclear power plant. I found it a very moving account of the suffering, courage and self sacrifice of the people involved in its aftermath. The lies, misinformation, and often the complete lack of information that should have been made available was appalling – however given this dramas context in a police state one can appreciate how this came about and with it the fear of being denounced as a critic of the state many of the actions are understandable. Well worth watching – but a sombre reflection on the dangers when humans are using nuclear technology.

"Chernobyl is brilliant drama"

Nail biting; shocking; terrifying. How Russia almost brought Europe to the brink becoming of a nuclear wasteland. I thought I knew most of the story, I only knew the science, not the politics, the corruption, the lies, the human cost of thousands; men, women and children. Watching this docu-drama left me speechless. Amazing.
