Author Biography:

Stephanie Peters has been writing books for children for more than twenty-five years. Her most recent Capstone titles include Earth's Amazing Journeys: From Pebbles to Continents and The Trojan War: A Modern Graphic Myth from the Mythology Graphics series. An avid reader, workout enthusiast, and beach wanderer, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and their pets. She lives and works in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Lia Liao is an illustrator who currently resides in New York. She was educated as a psychologist until 2020 when she decided to pursue a career in illustration. She feels the meaning in different languages is often lost in translation, which would result in bias towards the original intention of the spoken words. Therefore, Lia chooses to express her feelings and emotions through her illustrations. She combines her knowledge in psychology with her skills in illustrations to create her own unique style. Her style is rational and logical. But as the same, it is emotionally striking
