Judged dispassionately and all deductions allowed, it must be admitted, I think, that some progress has been made, and although the number Of deaths in some localities may be equal to those in former epi demies, it yet appears certain that our therapeutical measures are attended with a constantly increasing improvement in the proportion of cures.
