Citadel Painting Handle reviews

Finally, a GW product tool that isn't priced out of this universe yet still useful. Easy to handle and set up with a model in the grips, I feel that they could design one with grips that could be opened or closed without the threat of sending your model flying with the rubber band like tension it can hold on your models base. Worth it if you have the spare cash and a desire not to paint your fingers during your hobby sessions.

Have found the handle to be very useful. Easy to hold and manoeuvre around to paint and sculpt. Have bought a second one because I like them so much

Does its job and very well couldn't be happier

I just introduced my kids to painting figurines and I bought one of these for me to help maneuver the figures for easier detailing, now the kids want one each of their own. It’s not a “must have” item, but it certainly helps.

I bought this for heavy pewter minis especially when painting areas underneath and you need to tip it upside down. Works well but prefer my 32mm timber dowels cut to various lengths and standard blue tack to adhere minis.

No more bluetack or superglue it holds any model well. I'll probably end up buying a few

I used to blutack my miniatures on a piece of dowel, this is more secure and grips better. Not a bad price for a citadel product which are normally overpriced.

Can hold a few different base sizes, solid construction. Only complaint is that it's a very tight fit on bigger recommended bases.

I've purchased the citadel painting handle, paint pot holders and the water pot. When they arrived, they were just inside the cardboard box without any packaging. I mean it is alright to be environmentally friendly but would appreciate some sort of protection for the products as they would have rolled around the box during the delivery process. The products itself matched the description and I am sure my partner would appreciate it.

I was rather skeptical of a painting handle. I thought to myself “I can hold on to a mini while I paint it. Seriously how hard is holding on to a mini-” Well after repeatedly dropping several Nighthaunt Chainrasps, I bit the bullet and bought a Citadel Painting Handle. I appreciate the extra stability way more often than I ever thought I would. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Great tool for painting, didn't realise how much this helps!

Holds onto the model very securely allowing you to easily and comfortably handle the model as you paint. Another advantage is that it allows you to rest you paint hand up against to give it a little more stability as you paint.
