The white design in the middle of the pad is not flush with the surface and makes moving the mouse across it an unpleasant experience. Not at all smooth or free of hindrance.
Will cover a large portion of your desk but gives much more freedom with mouse. It will hold the keyboard comfortably as well. As mentioned there is a slight bump where the shape is in the centre though it makes no difference for me as that's where the keyboard sits and the mouse gets the third of the space to the right. Great product.
