I needed a replacement cooler for AMD CPU urgently and this one was the only one in my price range at the time. I did a bit of reading online and wasn't expecting much to be honest. Once I had it installed I was shocked that the temps were approx 10 degrees cooler and the fan was nearly silent. I am here to buy a second one for another PC. Great product thanks Mighty Ape!

I usually buy mainstream brands only. I read some bad reviews about the Deep Cool stuff online. But the price was good and almost as good as what you can buy it from China. Fan is silent and my AMD is running substantially cooler than when I was using the standard issue AMD Heatsink that came with the CPU.
I have a Phenom II x955 which prior to removing it for this used to idle at a whopping 50°c. After installation of this cooler (the base of the heatsink doesn't cover all of the CPU fyi) and downloading an unrelated driver, the temps got to 61°c before winding back down. Load barely got above 40% on one core. It is a cheap cooler for a reason, so if you want your heat down then get something else.
Installing the cooler is not as simple as the mid tier coolers out there, I genuinely had to push my screwdriver through the fans into the heatsink in order to click on the 2nd hinge, at the end of all that cooling isnt even that great on a quad core, if ur looking for a budget cooler for a single/dual core processor this is the one for you … However installing is such a pain took me an hour
Does what it says on the tin. It's quite as well.
Gives pretty much the same cooling performance as the Intel stock cooler I don't see any difference. But the only difference is that it looks way cooler than the stock one.
Great price for a good quality and really quiet fan. Happy with my purchase
Very quiet and efficient.
Makes much less noise than my stock cooler did, and cools the cpu a lot better too
