This product is of plastic construction with a metal grill surface. I found it able to keep the hard drive area of the laptop cool while gaming and the ability to raise the height level provided better air flow to the multi core heat exchanger. The noise level was less than the internal cooling fan of the laptop when the multi cores were fully operating.

I bought this because my fps was dropping too hard on my laptop when playing csgo for more than 10 minutes. This solves the issue, it keeps my laptop nice and cool. It's not silent but it isn't too loud at all. Highly recommend.

I have a large, older laptop (5–6 years old) that runs perfectly fun but gets incredibly hot. This cooling pad does a fantastic job of reducing the temperature. It is easy to operate with adjustable feet to elevate the laptop further. Fans aren't silent but with headphones on/sound playing you don't really notice it. For the price, this is well worth the investment.

This is a good cooler it helps a lot for gamer's that have laptops that are always overheating, It is very cold, so it will cool down your laptop significantly. I recommend this to anyone who has overheating problems!!! This also is good for putting your laptop at an eye level angle.

Received last week and am very pleased with the results. Cooler runs off a simple USB, making it far more easy to carry around and not be stressing about power plugs. Very quiet and low profile but still delivers 10–15° on a heavy load such as gaming. Very pleased. Thanks Mighty Ape!!

Without the cooler, I can experience around 5 minutes of game play without lag. But with the cooler, I've played for 2 hours straight and didn't experience any lag during game play. I am very happy with this product hence why I give it 5 stars.
