The only thing that would make this cooler would be if it came with a Bow tie – Bow ties are cool. Its bigger than I thought – bonus. Its fun telling your mates you have a sonic screwdriver – jealousy bonus. Its a touch expensive for a screwdriver however I got it a bit cheaper – birthday discount bonus.

Bought this for my 10 year old son and he absolutely loves it to the point of throwing it in the air and catching it like the 11th Doctor does but he missed and a bit of the green light broke of but it still works and is still fantastic…a must have for all Dr Who fans

This is a really good working replica, solid and weighty, with the added bonus that you can actually use it as a screwdriver. It doesn't extend or open the ‘claws’ – get the toy one if you want that – but it's a very serviceable prop and cosplay item, as well as a useful tool.

Recently, I bought this Dr Who souvenir as a gift for my Hubby. He was amazed to be the owner of the latest and greatest sonic screw driver and of course loves trying it out on our visitors. ( Along with showing off his ‘Dr Who Knock Knock’ t-shirt!) The sonic screw driver is fun for the whole family as it is a super toy and a handy tool. If you are a true fan, than you too should own one of these as it is ‘hands on’ and so not just another ornament piece that collects dust! The Dr would want you to have one. :o)

I'm so happy to have a sonic screwdriver, and one that really works as a screwdriver too. It's just a pity there are no daleks or cybermen to inactivate with it, and it doesn't seem to be an instant fix for my electronic equipment as it is for The Doctor.

But I'm still pretty happy with it. It is a lot bigger than it appears on this website, most probably normal size, although having never seen a real one I'm not sure.

I'm really glad I got in before it went out of stock. Sorry to all of you who missed out.
