Donald was at an auction I just happened upon one day. I had already retired, bought my land and the animals I wanted to have in my golden years. What caught my attention to Donald was he had the dark mark of a cross on his back. Not every donkey has this! I knew I had to have him so brought him home to my menagerie. As soon as he stepped off the trailer he high-tailed it over to my chickens, geese and ducks, scaring the feathers off their backs. After many trials and tribulations we finally got on the right track. Soon after Donald became the guardian to all the animals on my land, watching over all of them like a mamma watches over her babies.
