This is just a classic funny season of Dragon Ball. If you think it is a bit pricey, THINK AGAIN! you are getting six sagas of the best. That's 83 episodes. You will see Goku grow up from a boy, to a warrior, to a saiyan, and overcome anyone who crosses him in the journey for the Dragon Balls,

It's ageless and timeless, what you're going to find is beyond belief.

Don't buy this thinking it'll be like Dragon Ball Z, cause it isn't. Dragon Ball is vastly different in fact. Like I've always said to my friends and family, watching the Dragon Ball series takes a lot of commitment because once you watch one episode you're watching another, then another and soon enough the entire series has passed.

This box set though is definitely worth the 100 price tag, you're getting 83 episodes, over 2000 minutes, and a ton of fun. This has the majority of the Dragon Ball series and makes it a very good choice for people new and familiar to the series.

Word of caution; this does not contain the remastered sets, this is funimations original set which is just as good too be honest. Madman will not be bringing the Remasters over to Aus and New Zealand.

This is the best. Absolutely perfect. in my opinion the reason it's better is because it's more relaxed and funny. so i'd have 2 say if you are looking 2 buy a dbz season and you have the money get this one. because this is when the journey began.

I have been a dragon ball Z fan for years and have just recently purchased all of the Z seasons and the GT seasons. I was surprised to find out that there was more Dragon Ball left to see. This collection comes before the Z seasons in the story and now that I have seen them I can tell you it is very important to see what these sagas are all about. You will not be disappointed.

This is an unbelievably great for the price countless secounds of fun buy it from MA and you wont be disapointed :)

A must own for DBZ fans. I've watched all of DBZ and have been looking for Dragonball on DVD and now I've found it right here on gpstore! Yay! So now I can own all of Dragonball and DBZ!!

For those new to the series, Dragonball is more silly and fighting is focused more on martial arts than ki blasts and power ups on DBZ. Goku is more childish and quite hilarious (the boiling water and where are your balls scene with Bulma are two notable scenes!). I enjoy both Dragonball and DBZ and to have both on DVD is perfect.

Dragon Ball is good to watch again since 2019 and it'll be good to rewatch them again.

For all lovers of Dragon Ball Z who have never seen (or did not have the luxury of growing up with it on television like I did) the origin story of Goku, I highly recommend picking this collection up.

It is packed with indulgent fighting anime goodness, and is filled with bucketloads of nostalgia for those of us who grew up with this series before its successors were onscreen. It is high value for such a low cost, and it arrived in a very timely manner.

My only complaint would be that the disc trays arrived cracked and loose from their joints on the inside, which was a little fiddley to reassemble. But I put that down to how the package was handled, and does not in any way reflect on the quality service that MightyApe offers and is renowned for.

I am definitely going to pick up part two of this collection when it is on sale (Christmas has left me essentially destitute!)

This pack is great have really enjoyed being able to watch the beginning of what happened before Dragonball Z.

This is the greatest show to feel happy and adventure wonderingly crazy kid like. Everything is in here. Shows the most classic great bits that i think anyone should definately watch from time to time. When there is nothing to do, watch this, it will never be a let down. FUNNY, ADVENTURE, FIGHTING. peeeerfect program for me.
