Love dragon quest on my PlayStation 2 and was hoping they wouldn’t change too much with this one..and my expectation is surpassed as they made it even more enjoyable..a beautiful game..still playing as I haven’t finished yet but to be recommended to all who enjoyed the dragon quest series

Have been a big fan of Dragon Quest since 8 came out on PS2. This game is so much more and better! The graphics are beautiful, the characters are worth spending time with, the battle system is great and the story is awesome. I am about 60 hours deep into this and I can't stop wanting to play it. I totally recommend this game to any Dragon Quest fans and those who are new to the Dragon Quest franchise. You wont be disappointed!

It is great to have another top notch jrpg available for this console generation especially the first dragon quest game to home consoles in the west. This game has everything you need a great story and beautiful animations treat yourself to this gem.

Dragon Quest delivers a satisfying adventure rpg experience with beautiful artwork, decent and all the familiar faces from previous instalments. Despite having artwork and graphical style that is endearing it must be said that at times the environments look very dated and the tried and tested, turn based combat system feels stagnant. This game Is a great purchase for any fans of previous instalments or Of the JRPG genre. Younger gamers and adventurer lovers with time on their hands will also find this to be great value for money. For those that are after a casual gaming experience or have never played a JRPG before, maybe look elsewhere. 👍

Fantastic JRPG and animation is awesome!

I got this game as I was a fan of previous Dragon Quest titles. Very happy to report that it plays a lot like the older games, with updated graphics that keep in line with their traditional anime-style looks. Gameplay is great, the storyline is a mixture of serious and hilarious. 90 hours in and still have more to play. So worth it!

This is a really great game took me 90 hours to clock it, the only think I didn't like is the music.

One of the best RPGs I have ever played, and to be honest I am not a huge fan of the JRPG style of game however DQXI is absolutely awesome. Gorgeous graphics, fun and engaging combat, fantastic storyline. 9.5/10

Have got the game, Lots of fun and very cool with loads of beasts to kill. Best game to get.
