Drive reviews

After hearing a lot about this movie, I still wasn't too sure what to expect. It is slow paced, with a simple plot but execution is spot on! It is actually quite violent and graphic in certain scenes but not so over the top that it detracts from a great movie. Don't expect tons of car chases and continuous action but more of a thriller that is well told, well acted and well worth seeing.

Great soundtrack and great acting by gosling. Mulligan pulls her weight also. Man, I hope I win that jacket. Come on come on.

I think humankind has lost its perception about what's good and what's bad in movie industry. With all the Transporters, Transformers, all the Fast and Furious series and the look alike, they give bad reviews about Drive because it lacks all the clichés from the previous mentioned. I feel bad for them because they're blind in front of a masterpiece and cheerful and encouraging to blockbusters made only to appear in cinema just for the money and fame.

I admit, I wanted to see this movie because of Ryan Gosling. And once again, he did not disappoint me. I've seen most of his movies and I think this is his best role, yet. I rarely see a performance like his in Drive and when I see it, I know it will be stuck in my mind for a long time. If I wasn't already a fan, I would've become after Drive. The way he plays The Driver was worthy of an Oscar and it's a pity he was not put in the race for the award.

I loved everything about it. The director did an amazing job, making this movie. All of the actors were wonderful in their roles and there were some moments absolutely breathtaking.

Not what I expected nevertheless worth a watch

A huge disapointment!! Definitely give this one a miss and don't waste your money as I did, it is rubbish!! Story seemed ok and I was all geared up to watch some really good car chases ( as the main character is a stunt driver! ) but no.. Nothing decent at all. I should have and will use this Disc as a claybird target and blow it to pieces with a shotgun..

Great movie by the champion director Nicolas Winding Refn, director of the movie ‘Bronson’. Its got its fair share of violence and car chases but its got a great story, intriguing characters and awesome music. It's not a all out action flick, its more of a drama, Ryan Gosling plays a great isolated loner in the film who somewhat plays a hero character. This film is not for everybody, but I loved it! Very stylish and cool, one of the most original films seen in a while.
