The fifth edition PHB is a well written and comprehensive introduction to not only 5e but tabletop RPGs as a whole. It might seem costly at first but it's more than worth the price point with the enjoyment you'll get out of it for years to come.

This is a great book. Content is awesome. Binding comes apart after a while.
The quality and speed at which this was delivered, great, fast and effective
Book is exactly as I thought it would be. However, MightyApe seem to have some damp conditions as the pages were all wavy when it arrived. Can tell it's been damp at some point.
Great book, and much better than 4th edition but my book fell apart after a couple of months.
Not a lot needs to be said here. If you're playing D&D, you're likely going to want this eventually.
I like physical copies of some books and this is one of them, beautiful, hardcover, good quality paper, delivery was quick, packaged well.
Its a must have for anyone interested in taking your dnd seriously it covers all you need to know as a player and has a lot to help a budding DM

I have been playing D&D for a few years now and finally shelled out for my own PHB. D&D has offered me many hours of entertainment, the least I can do is buy the core book! And it's a lovely book to have in any case.
5th Edition D&D is an incredibly fun RPG, retaining some level of mechanics complexity, putting a greater focus on DM judgement and storytelling, and avoiding some of the large pitfalls of previous editions and other d20 RPGs.
This book is amazing, the artwork, the themes, so many hours of fun and it makes everything so easy.
