"Bets 5 minuits of my life- turned into a long term relationship"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

If you are looking for a quick thrill, or a one night stand, then this is the game for your.

For a long relationship with meaning and purpose, you had better fish elsewhere.

This game is amazinly fun to begin with, heck, destroying massive robots with an even bigger robot will always be fun. However, when this is the main selling point of the game, things become VERY repetitive very fast.

My rating : hire or buy on special

After some negative first impressions, I can now honestly say I've been playing this game atleast a little bit every day. while being very repetitive this game somehow manages to stay fun for every single minute of play time.

"A must have for any Gundam fan"

This time around they have deiced to add in some of the lesser known gundam series units, for example the double X gundam from the Gundam X series.

This Game is pretty much like the last one except for a few changes. One example is that you have to collect plan this time instead of parts and they cost money which you collect from the mission, the amount of money depends on the mission and the difficulty setting.

One thing that I strongly suggest you do is swicth the speaking voices to Japanese, if like me and have watch some Fan-subbed anime the Japanese voices are better suited to the charters than the American voice overs, which are really bad and I mean REALLY REALLY bad.

Thanks for reading From your local Gundam fan

"A Dynasty Warrior Title With a Mech-esque Touch"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

The game features 110 gundam and 50 pilots. From the first of the anime series(Mobile Suit Gundam) up to Gundam 00.

There's a shop where you can upgrade your gundam and use blueprints to make more. They're easily found in Singleplayer and Online Multiplayer and its just a lot of fun trying to max out the stats of all of them.

The graphic style works well and there's a lot of detail put into the gundams. The only thing I think that could've been better was that the areas where you fight can get kind of bland after awhile, but you probably wont notice when you're slashing through heaps of enemies with all those beam and laser sword effects nicely done.

The music in the game fits the mood. Although the game has a futuristic setting the music isn't full of techno and the sort but uses a mix of rock, metal and heavy metal.

Score:10/10

Fun online/offline(couch) multiplayer, Lots of missions in singleplayer and a ton of stuff to unlock and upgrade.

If you're thinking about getting this, but put off because you know nothing about gundam, dont worry :) there is a History Mission mode and it lets you play missions following the storylines of the various anime series.

Perfect hack and slash game for killing some time. Highly recommended.

"Nice collection for a Gundam fan."

Dyansty Warriors Gundam is fun to play. Its doesn't take much concerntration on the lower difficulty. Good selection of Mobile Suits, All the main Gundams show up (including both Musha Gundams from the previous games) as well as Grunt suits such as the Ginn and Dark Army. The horrible upgrade system from DWG2 has been removed and replaced with a system that lets YOU customise your Mobile Suit. Japanese Language option has been included again (THANKFULLY!) New Cell Shaded graphics give the game a more anime feel as well. Downside: There are 4–5 faction based missions that force you to play as certain characters at times. Side missions seem pretty much the same, but a true Gundam Fan will get satisfaction from hacking and slashing through the enemies in their favourite Gundam with their favourite character. This game is not for everyone, but if you have to by a Dynasty Warriors Gundam Game this is it.

"grind fest"

it starts off fun. then around half way when all story missions are done and you're left with the side missions. it becomes a tedious grind to unlock missons by leveling up all the other characters to level 4. which killed the game for me. i've stoped playing after that. reasons theres no guage or exp bar that tells you how close a friend is to leveling up. and there is no hints to as if there is more levels to be unlocked or what needs to be done to unlock a misson.

unless you like gundams alot. this game would be pointless for you. only reason i brought it is that its the only gundam game that gets a western release these days
