Though the world of Oblivion (set in the province of Cyrodiil) isn't as densely populated or varied as Skyrim, I found that the stories told in this game to be superior to its successor. I have spent over 200 hours playing this game and I have never felt bored for a minute. Well worth picking up for RPG fans.

Even people who aren't big fans of the fantasy genre can wave goodbye to their life if they buy this game… terribly additive! So many missions to complete, so many creatures to kill, so many objects to discover. …just one more mission before bedtime.....
Great in depth story play. Talking to all the people in the game can be a little tedious though.
Perhaps the greatest rpg ever, at least before Skyrim. Get them both for an epic 500+ hours adventure.
I absolutely loved Skyrim by the same company, so I though I'd try their previous game. The graphics remind me games from 1995. I understand some like the storyline, but I can't get past the cheesy animation, and walk cycles. Try Skyrim instead.
