Author Biography
Suzanne Garbe is the author of several nonfiction children's books. When not writing, Suzanne works with nonprofit organizations working to reduce poverty in communities around Minnesota. In 2013, she volunteered with the team that put together the largest Lite-Brite picture in history. Her jeans are still splattered with the extra strong glue they used to keep the Lite-Brite pegs in place. Mary Englar is a freelance writer and a teacher of English and creative writing. She has a master of fine arts degree in writing from Minnesota State University, and has written more than 30 nonfiction books for children. She continues to read and write about the many different cultures of our world in Minnesota. Terri Dougherty has written more than 90 books for children, including 10 weather-related titles. She wrote for newspapers before exploring other writing styles and lives in Appleton, Wisconsin, with her family.
