Disappointing, as the impression I had was that this was a reasonable quality company, and yet this product did not indicate this with the tip of the cutter not having a symmetric point for fine cutting. Probably would be better to spend a bit more money and get a better cutter.

After two weeks of use on plastic the spring snapped
Thought I would buy a middle of the range cutter since I didn't have a set yet, These are rubbish, uncomfortable to hold, blunt, and the jaws don't line up. When you close them the only part of the jaw that touches is the very tip, and the there rest of the cutting blade has a gap, so much so as to not cut the sprue completely. In addition to this the blade aren't even aligned.
While it has to be said the design and feel of these cutters are really nice the spring snapped after mild use making the product fairly useless. On top of this the blades have become rough after use on sprue which is also very disappointing. Not worth a buy.
I have only used them for two kits so far, but one of them was chrome plated so I didn't need a pair chipping that. Thankfully even for someone inexperienced these cutters got C-3PO through unscathed. Can't speak for longevity but it seems I chose the right pair.
I own 3 different sprue cutters from different suppliers and this is a really well made item.It cuts relly well.
Works as described – cuts sprues, and no complaints
Excellent product and is highly recommended.
Tight and cut clean.
