A remake of the classic book, we find this movie both heart warming and comedic. This movie pushes the world of animated features to a whole new level, despite being maid in a lo-fi stop motion style, that would normally make a film feel awkward and less fluid. I went into the theaters with high expectations and was pleased, I am certain the DVD will be no different.

Roald Dahl at his best. Tremendously well made film with just the right voices for the characters. Full of dry wit and humour. An excellent reflection of the best and the worst traits in ‘people’. Shows the value of family and friends, their adversary and triumphs. Action-packed and exciting. Great family viewing.
