Far Cry 3 (Classics) reviews

By far the single best game I have bought this year. I pre-ordered the insane edition earlier this year with high expectations following the E3 video, and was not dissappointed. The graphics are well up there with the leading games of this year, and the physics engine does not dissapoint. This is the first FPS that I know of that has a full first person cover system with blind fire and does not even need a button to activate, also it is not buggy or intrusive to the gameplay. It has a brutal execution system that can be earnt by unlocks and skill points during the campaign. The game has a very memorable campaign, as well as an unbeaten map editor, seperate co op campaign (which is sort of like a set of mini missions, but it is done well), and multiplayer which is both highly enjoyable and highly customisable. The only downsides to this game is that not alot of people know about it and therefore finding a multiplayer match can be a little difficult at times. This is definitely worth buying and I can see it staying in my collection for a long time.

There is just so much to do in this game, your not limited to the storyline, graphics are great and the range of weapons is extensive. This game will keep you entertained for days

With a massive world to explore and mini quests to complete, far cry 3 is more then just a standard first person shooter. 9/10

Another free roaming game, storyline optional. Myself and my flatmates loved this game. It felt like dead island without zombies with more focus on guns than melee. The graphics are great in this game its not a complicated as other games details but the lack of loading screens makes up for it. In single player you take the position of jason brody a captured tourist as you save your friends and liberate the island from pirates and mercenary's. There is lots of skills to get it took me about two weeks to get them all. You get to do vehicle time trials, shooting competitions, poker and hunting these mini games give you a break from being the grim reaper of the island. The islands also have para-gliders and you get a flying squirrel suit later in the game which are lots of fun gliding around the islands A patch was released eariler this year allowing you to reset the outposts on the islands so the game still has playablility after completion. Co-op is different to single play where you follow a set path and complete certain tasks. Each one with different objectives and is no longer free roaming this is still enjoyable but I wish it was a bit more like Dead island in Co-op.

Hands down one of the best games I have played, and surely one of the best games of its year. Awesome game play and story. Combines shooting with adventure perfectly and you can play it how you want! All fans of this will be eagerly waiting for Far Cry 4.

Aside from the inconsistencies with the geography, fauna, culture and architecture, and the linguistic errors (kai moana=pig), there is nothing to complain about. The scenery is beautiful, the combat is fun and well paced, whether you are going for stealth, tactical assult or just plain and simple rambo. the hunting is very peaceful or exciting (depending on your choice of weapon and target… and accuracy). The plot is engaging and interesting.

This game lives up to it's reviews. Only down side was the co-op not being the main story line. The story line for co-op is good in itself but had hoped it would be more like the classic Halo story co-op with the full game playable together.

Awesome game, have finished it 3 times and will continue to play. The more you play the tips and tricks you learn for the next time you play. Great scenery. Great side quests, can sometimes be too many. Animals are great, but the fact that so many of them are deadly and stick in packs can drive you mental when you just want to play the game. Some of the videos are a bit messed up, too much use of dream sequences/hallu­cinations, sometimes don't really make sense. Rest of the game play is awesome. Ending leaves you wishing for more.

By far the best FPS I have ever played, loved the raw and brutal storyline as well as the seamless free roam world. Love the fact that I still have the urge to play it even though I finished the storyline ages ago! Highly recommended!

Not played a greeeaat deal, but it has been fun so far. I've seen lots of others playing this in videos and I can't wait to get to later game content =D
