A very fun game with tons of stuff to do, a lot of laughs with this. My Favorite game of the year so far.

I bought this because it was set in a paleolithic environment and apparently the language of the protagonists is based on a reconstructed proto Indo-European Language. Some of the names seem to have syllables that evoke nouns found in the bible. In many ways it feels like a bow hunter simulation, and the animals you can tame feel nice, I like petting the big kitties. In fact I wish I could interact with the “pets” more. The village shows an interesting development and I am expecting a cross over to the neolithic at some point. This aside, it has the same mechanics of the Far Cry series, with similar NPC spawning and behaviour but don't expect any retro futuristic technology as found in the whole “Assassins Creed” series, on which I am grateful. So to conclude I like the hunting and the big kitty which I get to pet.
The game is boring, hard to start and contains gibberish. It is rigidly programmed with no opportunity for free travel within the game map. I regard it as not being worth the recycling value of the packaging.
Can't even play the game as fails to even run on my PC which is well above min spec requirements for game. Searched the web and looks to be common fault with game and all fix suggestions fail to get game to work. Looks like wasted some money buying this......
If you are a Far Cry series fan, don't miss this one. It has all that was great about Far Cry 4, plus. However it is single player only and this is disappointing as it would make for a fantastic co-op experience in my opinion.
