Olivia Brooks-Scrivanich was born on January 19, 1957 in Lorain Ohio, a small town about 30 miles west of Cleveland. She is the second of six children born to Wayne and Lois Brooks. At a very young age, Olivia showed a great love for music and the outdoors which fueled her already active imagination. During her schooling, she mastered 4 different instruments and "fiddled' around with several others. By the time she was in 8th grade, she had transposed the song Bolero from an album onto paper so she could play it on her clarinet. After traveling to different parts of the United States, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean, Olivia moved to Seattle in 1994. She met her husband Paul and they were married in 1995. They live with their dog - Chance in Kirkland Washington, a beautiful little town just across the lake from Seattle.
